Wonder if he’ll take the train again. Buffalo … back to Jersey … up to Albany … hmmmm:

BOSS TAKES THE E STREET TRAIN

As he neared the conclusion of his concert last Friday night, striking a few chords on a roll toward “Land of Hopes and Dreams,” Bruce Springsteen offered this aside to guitarist Little Steven Van Zandt: “We’ve got a train to catch.”
He wasn’t kidding. It was a perfect lead-in line for the song, with it’s repeating mournful phrase “This train …,” but it also was true. The Boss and his E Street Band had chartered an Amtrak train to bring them to Albany and had a midnight run back to New York City within about an hour of leaving the stage.
Amtrak District Superintendent Phil Larson was tickled to have the band riding the rails for the express runs, which he said took about two hours each way without stops. Springsteen, who was the subject of a cover story in Amtrak’s passenger magazine Arrive this autumn, and his children got a look at the engineer’s cab, and the other musicians had plenty of room to stretch out in the four-car train, he said.
Chartering a whole train is highly unusual for entertainers, Larson said, though sports teams and fans do it with some frequency. The popular Buffalo Bills special between Albany and Buffalo made three round-trip runs this season, Larson said.
